About the car
Audi's B6 S4 was my dream car throughout college, after I graduated, in 2007 I flew down to Oregon on a one-way ticket and drove back with a new to me, Imola S4. The 4.2l V8 produces 339hp and 302 ft/lbs of torque.
The first set of mods my car received was a set of 19" Hartmann RS4 reps and window tint, and e-codes.
Next up, we installed a set of APR downpipes and an APR exhaust.
After the exhaust work it was time for suspension. I decided on the STaSIS/Ohlins Motorsports with the 700lb/100lb spring rates, the STaSIS 4:1 TorSen center differential, and the Hotchkis Sport 29mm rear sway.
After the driveline, I decided I wanted to change up the exterior a bit. I got hold of JMI again and had them fabricate mounts for OEM S6 LEDs in the Oettinger front bumper. I also opted to replace my cast 19" Hartmann RS4 reps with a set of forged 19" RS4s.
All that attention to the exterior had me uneasy on the interior. One of the things I could not stand about the S4 was the wood trim so I decided it was time for those to be replaced. While I was at it, I thought...hey, let's do the mirrors too!
