A glassy carbon electrode was modified with bromocresol purple (BCP) and characterized forrnthe electrochemical oxidation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) by cyclic voltammetry and differentialrnpulse voltammetry. The oxidation peak current of 4-NP at the modified electrode was increasedrn(compared to the bare GCE), thus indicating that the BCP exhibits a remarkable enhancementrneffect on the electrochemical oxidation of 4-NP. The effects of loading with BCP, pH value andrnscan rate were examined. The oxidation peak current of 4-NP is proportional to itsrnconcentration in the range of 4.0 μM to 100 μM, with a correlation coefficient of 0.984. Therndetection limit is 2.8 μM. The method is simple, selective and sensitive. It was successfullyrnapplied for the determination of 4-NP in water samples, with recoveries ranging from 100% torn101%.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
