The Performance Of Charities Societies In Ethiopia

Purpose-The purpose of this research project is to measure the performance of charities and rnsocieties in the country. That is, currently there is a contradictory idea that CSs performance isn‘t rneffective& efficient among the community; government, and scholars.rnDesign/methodology/approach-The research project analyzes and interoperates the performance rnof CSs in the country based on standards developed in the area. rnFindings- The performance of CSs in the country is effective, efficient, relevance to their rnstakeholders while they aren‘t financially viable to accomplish their established objectives due to rna limit on foreign finance utilization provision and weak culture of the community in engaging at rncharitable activities.rnOriginality/value-The research project outlines ways to improve financial viability problems by rnincreasing foreign & domestic fund utilization , and admin & program cost appropriation rnprovisions in CS proclamation. And also CSs must adhere to the interests of donors, implement rncost effective procedures, and be responsible & accountable to interests of their stakeholders.
