The crude extracts of six Ethiopian medicinal plantsrnused traditionally for the treatment of malaria werernscreened for their in vitro anti-malarial activity.rnMethanol, chloroform and ethanol extracts of the sixrnspecies of plants, Croton m'::rostachyus Del.rn(Euphorbaceae): Calpurnia aurea (Alt.) Benth. (Fabaceae);rnBuddeleia polystachya Fresen. (Loganiaceae); Terminaliarnschimperiana Hochst. (Comberetaceae); Dodonaea angustifoliarnL.f (Sapindaceae) and Jasminum grandiflorum L. (Oleaceae),rnwere tested for possible schizonticidal effects. Of thernextracts screened, methanol extract of £.macrostachyusrnfruits and Q.angustifolia seeds; and chloroform extracts ofrn£. aurea leaves and £.macrostachyus fruits had lCSO values ofrnless than 10 ~g/ml showing a high anti-malarial activity.rnThe ethanolic extracts of £.macrostachyus fruits,rn!.schimperiana leaves; methanol extracts of !.schimperianarnleaves and £. aurea leaves, !l. grandiflorum root and bark;rnchloroform extracts of l!. polystachya leaves; Q. angustifoliarnseeds, !l.grandiflorum root and bark: and !. schimperianarnleaves possessed low activity with lCSO values between 11-50rnpg/ml. All other solvent extracts of the plants had nornactivity.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
