From each associationrn6 interviewees were selected.rnThe findings of both the interview and questionnaire have implied that womenrnwith disability have problems in adjusting psychosocially at the present. Thesernwomen have a negative view towards themselves. In addition, women withrndisabilities face stereotypes and discriminations from their families, close friendsrnand the society at large. Furthermore, the study has indicated that women withrndisability face differential treatment from the society unlike men with similarrndisability. They face sexual harassments in accessing information, education andrnjob opportunities. Sexual violences are also forwarded at them because they arernwomen.rnBased on the major findings, this study attempts to point out interventions andrnadvocacies that need to be carried out by both governmental and nonrngovernmental organizations. Lastly, it tries to indicate possible social mobilizationrnworks that should be carried out at a community level to change the currentrnstereotypical attitudes.
