The Role Of School Leaders On The Qualitiy Of Education The Case Of Beshale Secondary Preparatory School

The main purpose of this study was to assess the role of school leaders on the quality ofrneducation: the case of Beshale secondary preparatory school. In order to meet the objectives ofrnthe study, a descriptive survey method was employed. The study was carried out on 108 totalrnpopulations of 48 teachers and 60 students using stratified sampling technique for this study.rnQuestionnaires and interview used for collecting data. Documents were also analyzed tornsupplement the data. The data obtained through the questionnaires analyzed using frequency,rnpercentages, mean, standard deviations, used to make the analysis clear. The informationrnobtained through open-ended questions and the interviews were qualitatively analyzed tornsupplement the quantitative data. The findings revealed that the school leaders support thernteaching learning process in the school, the school leaders, staff and students involve onrnsupporting the teaching learning process in a variety of activities. But the school leaders do notrngive feedback and support for teachers on their work and majority of teachers are not equallyrnsupported. As a result these had a great influence on the quality of education.
