This study has been conducted on Kamisee phonology. The work is the first descriptionrnon the phonology of this dialect. The primary aim of the study is to describe differentrnphonological aspects of the dialect according to methods in descriptive linguistics. Thernresearch treats some neglected topics such as stress and intonation, and argues that therndialect is not tonal.rnThe study is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is about the brief account of thernwork. The second chapter deals with the phoneme inventory, the consonant and thernvowel phonemes of the dialect and their distribution. The third chapter investigates therndifferent phonological processes. The fourth chapter treats the phonotactics and thernsyllable structure of the dialect. The fifth chapter addresses the suprasegmental features,rnand the last chapter comprises a brief summary and the conclusion of the study
