Supply chain management (SCM) is one of the most important tools that companies use to developrntheir performances. The basic objective of this research was to study the role of SCM Practices inthernoperational performance of the ET MRO. To study the role of supply chain management practices inrntheoperational performance, five key dimensions of SCM practices (Customerrnrelationshipmanagement, supplier relationshipmanagement, internal integration, information sharingrnand information quality) were used as independent variables, while time and quality variables werernused as an indicator of theoperational performance. A sample of 117 employees was taken from arntarget population of 516 employees. Aquestionnaire and interview were used as a research tool forrnthe collection of data. Baseline data was found from some key informants and also from secondaryrndata.Collected data were analyzed through SPSS version 23 by running frequencies, mean score andrnlinear regression. Main findings of the study revealed that there is a high level of practicalrnimplementation of SCM practices specially on the important dimensions’ customer relationshiprnmanagement and internal integration in the Ethiopian airlinesSCM and that they all have arnsignificant and positive effect in the operational performance of the ET MRO, that is they improvedrnthe organization’s performance in terms of lowering the TAT of aircrafts and components and thatrnimproving the maintenance quality. A combination of all the five practices studied had a strongerrneffect on MRO performance.
