Supply chain management is the most important tools that organizations use to develop theirrnoperational performance. The main objective of this study was to assess the effect of supplyrnchain management practices (Supplier partnership, internal integration, level of informationrnsharing and quality of information sharing) on operational performance of Ethiopian airlinesrnMRO. Both quantitative and qualitative research method used for this study to determine thernrelationship between supply chain management practices (Supplier partnership, internalrnintegration, level of information sharing and quality of information sharing ) and operationalrnperformance of Ethiopian airlines MRO. Descriptive and explanatory research design employedrnfor the study. Data were collected from 106 employees working in Ethiopia airlines MROrnmaintenance and logistics and supply chain management department. The data analysis resultsrnshows that supplier partnership and quality of information sharing have a positive andrnsignificant impact on operational performance of Ethiopian airlines MRO while internalrnintegration and level of information sharing is not significant. The organization has to improvernits supplier partnership and quality of information sharing practices to improve the operationalrnperformance even further. Specifically, Ethiopian airlines MRO has to work with suppliers tornimprove suppliers’ product quality and to include key suppliers in its continuous improvementrnprogram and the company should also work with suppliers to share adequate and completerninformation with each other.
