Businesses today operate in a market-driven, customer-oriented era and to survive inrnsuch a competitive environment, they have to be flexible, adaptable and above all providernsuperior service. Supply chain management, customer driven corporate policy, and otherrnelements of supply chain management are frequently cited as strategic options to achieverncompetitive success. This study presents details of a survey carried to determine whetherrnparticular supply chain practices and customer relations practices can impact corporaternperformance. The objective of the study was to establish the effect of supply chain management practices on organizational performance of Unilever Ethiopia. A total numberrnof responses from 37 employees were used for analysis in this research study. Questionnaires with closed ended and five point Likert scale items were used as instrument to collect data for the research. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 Version.rnDescriptive statistics was used to explain the demographic characteristics of respondentsrnand to discuss the descriptive report of responses provided by the respondents on supplyrnchain practices and organizational performance by measuring mean and standard deviation. Research questions were tested using statistical analysis of Pearson’s Correlationrnand multiple linear regressions. The study found that strategic supplier partnership,rnadoption of information technology, information sharing, knowledge management, reverse logistics and green supply chain all have positive and significant relationship withrnorganizational supply chain performance. Moreover, as per the multiple regression result, strategic supplier partnership is found to be more critical. The study recommendsrnthat the management of Unilever Ethiopia consider implementing fully various supplyrnchain practices due to its positive effects and also for the government to provide incentives on adoption of certain supply chain practices such as green supply chain due to itsrneffect on the environmental sustainability.
