The major objectives of this study were to investigate practices of active learning, to assessrnthe implementation of Active learning approach and to identify factors affect thernimplementation of active the active learning approach in teaching Algebra in secondaryrnschools of East Wollega zone, Oromia regional state. Based on this related literatures werernreviewed. The research design employed was descriptive survey with mixed approaches. Thernsources of data for this study were secondary school mathematics teachers, students, schoolrnsupervisors and principals of the sample schools of the zone. The main data collectionrninstrument was questionnaires for mathematics teachers, students, school supervisors andrnprincipals. In addition, supervisors’ interview and classroom observations were used tornsupport the data obtained through the questionnaire. Non-parametric statistical toolsrnpercentage and qualitative approaches were in order to analyse and interpret data. The studyrnrevealed that the school situations and classroom sitting arrangements, number of learners’rnper-classrooms, lack of specialized trained pedagogical centre coordinators, low facilities inrnschools, low instructional materials and interest of learners towards learning Algebrarnthrough active approach were hindering the implementation of active learning approach inrnsecondary schools of the zone. Improvement is needed for school situations and increasingrnfunding, providing classroom and make number of learners standard per-class, motivatingrnand advising students to increase their interest and training pedagogical coordinators whornsupport the teaching and learning activities in schools were recommended

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
