Background: Khat (Catha edulis Forsk) is a plant mostly grown and used in east Africanrncountries and the Arabian Peninsula since ancient time with a progressive increase of use in thernrecent time. It is becoming an important concern worldwide and the khat producing countries inrnparticular for its stimulant effect.rnObjectives: This study was designed to assess the acute effect of khat ingestion on pulmonaryrnfunction and arterial hemoglobin oxygen saturation in human.rnMethodology: This experimental study was done in 20 study participants. Data gathering toolsrnincluded Biopac data acquisition systems for determination of FVC, FEV1, FEV2 FEV1%,rnMVV, VT, and NRR. Pulse Oxymetry was also used to measure oxygen hemoglobin saturation.rnThen, data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative techniques.rnResults: This study showed statistically significant increase (P

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
