We have reviewed the GWS theory of weak and electromagnetic interaction among leptonsrnand study their property. Thus electroweak interaction emits intermediate vector bosonsrn(W and Z), just as photon is emitted in the case of QED. Intermediate vectorrnbosons have to be massive so that we have reviewed their masses MW = 1rn2g andrnMZ = 1rn2 rnprng2 + g02 in the frame work of Higgs mechanism which is applied to breakrnuni ed SU(2) U(1) symmetry spontanously. The Lagrangian that describes the com-rnplete interaction and the decay of WÀ€€ boson is nally presented in this thesis
