We analyze the squeezing and statistical properties of a degenerate three-levelrnatom coupled to a coherent light and vacuum reservoir. In the other way, employ-rning the Heseinberg and Quantum Langevin equation associated with the normalrnordering noise operator, we study the squeezing properties, power spectrum, vari-rnance and also calculate the mean photon number of the cavity mode. It turns outrnthat the generated light exhibits squeezing under certain conditions
