We present the results of variational Monte Carlo analysis of Be 9rnL binding energy. Thernhypernuclear system is treated as partially nine-body problem in the L-a-a cluster model.rnThe potential parameters used are taken from the earlier work of s-shell hypernuclei. Thernbinding energy of Be 9rnL is found to be sensitive to the choice of a-a potential. The root meanrnsquare separation between two-alpha is consistent with the assumption of a-cluster model forrnBe 9rnL
