The main objective of this study is to identify the role of Assets Disclosure and Registration law inrnthe reduction of corruption through the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethi-rnopia. The introduction and implementation of the Assets Disclosure and Registration law by thernFederal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethiopia is believed to be beneficial for thernCountry in preventing and combating corruption. In order to achieve the research objective, thernresearcher gathered data through questionnaires, interviews, and documents analysis. Then, thernresearcher analyzed and interpreted the data; drew conclusions; and put forward recommenda-rntions. The major findings include: the commission has scored consistently and in increasinglyrnrate better than the predeceased and period of pre-promulgation years ADR in corruption pre-rnvention activities, Allegations Received, Cases Investigated, Charges filed against suspects,rnNumber of Individuals Arrested, Number of convictions in terms of files, Conviction Rate in termsrnof files (%), Individuals Convicted, and assets recovered lost to corruption by the commission.rnEffectiveness of the commission increases and level of corruption perception index decreased atrnsteady level and increase cleanness of corruption or reduced corruption committing in the coun-rntry. Even though the law has a very great role in maximizing efforts of fighting corruption in therncase of FEACC, there is a lack of full utilization of the law as wanted especially conscious verifi-rncation. To alleviate the problem it is recommended that the Commission should be at full scalernengagement to increase the conscious verification of the already registered assets so as tornachieve the very goal of assets disclosure and registration law
