The purpose of this study was the evaluation of good governance practices using comparativernanalysis method. The study used qualitative and quantitative research design where randomrnsampling method was used for selection of clients. Data were collected using structuredrnquestionnaire and analyzed by SPSS windows version 20.0. Questionnaires used to gatherrnraw data from the respondents. Secondary data were also collected from different existingrnsources. The data were analyzed using Microsoft excel and presented using tables and chart.rnThe findings show that in TASH there is poor accountability, lack transparency and lessrnresponsiveness their client in contrast to SPSH. The findings also show that in TASHrnstakeholders did not make the society or another stakeholder to participate in the provision ofrnbasic service delivery, in the supervision of basic service delivery, in the financial activities,rnand in handling customers’ complaints compared to SPSH. Although there are attempts ofrngood governance practices, a lot need to be done at the TASH in contrast to SPSH. The studyrnrecommended that, to improve good governance practice, the management of Hospitalsrnshould ensure that two Specialized Hospital staff are aware of the elements of goodrngovernance practice and adhere to them in their day to day activities.
