A cross sectional study of low birth weight (LBW) with a case controlrnanalysis was carried out in 30 villages of Jimma zone, South, western Ethiopiarnwith the objectives to determine the prevalence of (LBW), its determinants andrnto assess the performance of trained traditional birth attendants (TTBAs) inrnrecording birth weight using simple modified salter spring balances. Exposurernvariables of interest related to study mothers were collected and birth weightrnof the new born were recorded by enumerators and TTBAs.rnA total of 537 mother, newborn pairs were included in the study revealingrnan overall LBW rate of 10.6%. The frequency distribution of health unit andrnhome deliveries were nearly equal (47% vs 53%). LBW rate was higherrnamong home deliveries (12.9%) than health unit deliveries (8 .0%).rnStatistically significant mean birth weight difference favouring health unitrndelivered neonates was observed when compared to home delivered neonatesrn(t=2,03, P

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
