This study was conducted to investigate the attitude of employees toward women leaders, and to examine whether the attitude of the employees towards women leaders differ by gender, educational level and age. To this end, data were collected from sample of employees from organizations using Women as Managers Scale (WAMS), In addition, a semi-structured interview was used with eight employees. The total numbers of the research participants were 308, of which 115 were females and 185 were males. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, one sample, and independent sample t-test and One Way ANOVA. The findings of the study indicated that the employees held positive (favorable) attitude towards women leaders. On the other hand, the male employees hold significantly less favorable attitude towards women leaders than the female employees. Similarly, educational levels was found to influence attitude toward women leaders, the more educated employees having more positive attitude toward women leaders than the less educated employees. However, significant variations were not found among the employees age. Based on the study findings, the researcher finally forward suggestions, and recommendations that can be used as an additional highlight on how we could change the existing gender related mind setup of our society in general.
