The Challenge And Coping Mechanism Of Unaccompanied Minor Migrants From Rural To Urban Areas (from Snnpr To Addis Ababa)

The aim of this studywas to understand the migration factors(push/pull) experienced byrnunaccompanied migrant minors. To identify why they seek migration, what motivatesrntheir migration, what happen to them after they arrive in new home/destination, andrnhow they face challenges and encounter for the problem they face. Using qualitativerndescriptive research methods, aims to describe the migration factors, challenge andrncoping mechanism of minors, the primary data collection was in-depth interview andrnobservation. Purposive sampling technique was used to select participant containingrnten participants. The finding of this study indicated that the unaccompanied migrantrnminors drives them to migrate, challenges in new home/destination (Addis Ababa) andrncoping mechanism to encounter the problems.rnKey words: Unaccompanied minor migrants, factors, challenge andrncoping mechanism
