The major purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between prosocial behavior, rnparenting style and self-concept. Closed-ended questionnaires of prosocial Tendencies rnMeasure (PTM), Parenting Styles Scale (PSS), and social self-esteem inventory were used to rngather data from a random sample of 105 (65 female and 40 male) volunteers. Most of thernquestions present in a 5-point scale format. Correlation and regression analysis, ANOVA, t rntest and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the quantitative data. The result indicated rnthat volunteers have high level of prosocial behavior. Similarly, statistically significant rnrelations were found among prosocial behavior, parenting style and self-concept.
