This study was conducted aiming to explore the role of Mothers of Children with cerebral palsyrnCheshire Ethiopia rehabilitation Center in Addis Ababa. The study specifically focused the role,rnperception and challenges of mothers in rehabilitation center. Descriptive qualitative study typernapproach was used to explore the lived experience of mothers of children with cp and semi-rnstructured interviews were applied with five mothers of children with simple random samplingrntechnique was implemented. FGD and observation were also used for data collection.rnFindings of the study indicated that mother of children living with cerebral palsy involved in thernrehabilitation center. They were challenged by lack of financial support, transport and physicalrntreatment training for mother of children with cerebral palsy. Results also pointed out that therneffects of those challenges in mothers of children with cerebral palsy life such as psychologicalrninjurers, emotional disturbance, and financial problem. Findings provide detailed informationrnand used as indicator of the need for further research on the role of mothers children withrncerebral palsy in the rehabilitation center. The results of this study also hoped to give informationrnand direction for researchers, rehabilitation center, policy makers, planners what should be donernin the future and take measures to reduce their lifelong challenge
