This thesis tries to give a brief description andrnanalysis of the phonology of Anfillo language in thernframework of Non-linear Phonology.rnChapter one gives background information about thernlanguage and the people. It also introduces therntheoretical models utilized in the study.rnChapter two presents the description of the consonantrnand vowel phonemes along with their underspecifiedrndistinctive feature matrices and the relevant redundancyrnrules.rnChapter three deals with the syllable structure, t herndistribution and co - occurrence restrictions of thernsegments, and the phonological processes.
