This paper attempts to describe complements of Awinr irnverbs following the X-Bar Theory of phrase structurernrules of Jackendoff (1977), Chomsky (1981,1986) and Radfordrn(1981) .rnThe theory claims that in all natural languages, thernmajor lexical categories, that is, nouns, verbs, adjectivesrnand prepositions have similar complement structuresrnand levels of projection.
