The main purpose of this study was to examine the contribution of TVET Trainingrntowards entrepreneurship (Self- employment) form the prospective entrepreneurrnTVET graduates of Selam TVET as a particular case. To this end, an attempt wasrnmade to look into the status of entrepreneur graduates in particular reference withrnthis entrepreneurship; the major challenges the entrepreneur graduates confronted,rnthe situation (success or failure) of entrepreneur graduates, the hope of TVETrngriiduates regarding entrepreneurship.rnQualitative case study research method was employed to assess the contribution ofrnTVET training towards entrepreneurship. The participants of the study werernentrepreneur graduates of Selam TVET college, Dean, Vice Dean, entrepreneurshiprncourse instructor, two counselors and one TVET expert. Accordingly, the respondentrnsampling was carried out through purposive and available sampling techniques.rnInformation is obtained using interviews, observations and document reviewing. Therndata collected analyzed using narrative description and interpretation. The resultrnshowed that the contribution of TVET towards entrepreneurship was remarkable.rnThe finding of the investigation indicated the entrepreneur graduates got qualityrntraining on basic entrepreneurship skill, except one the rest of entrepreneurrngraduates of Selam TVET college have good economic status, confronting challengernlike insufficient working capital, inconvenient working site, lack of customer. Therernwas a linkage between the training and labor market skills; Apprenticeship trainingrnhelped graduates to become successful. Entrepreneur graduates missed vocationalrnguidance service; there are wide prospects of TVET graduates to enter towardsrnentrepreneurship.
