Background: Helicobacter pylori infection is a major public health problem that affects morernthan 50% of the world’s population. The prevalence of H. pylori differs among various societiesrnand geographical locations. Therefore, it is very important to have timely information on thernprevalence of H. pylori in order to prevent the infection. The purpose of this study is torndetermine the prevalence of H.pylori infection over a period of 5 years among dyspeptic patientsrnat nine Health Centers Arada Sub-City in Addis Ababa City Administration.rnMethods: A retrospective analysis of the record dyspeptic patients’ records of five consecutivernyears covering the period July 2016 to June 2020 was conducted.
