Assessment On Budget Implementation And Controlling Case Of Addis Ababa City Administration Finance And Economic Development Bureau

The study aimed at assessing budget implementation and controlling inrnenhancing performance of the Addis Ababa city administration of f inance andrneconomic development Bureau. Specif ically the study focused on identifying thernexisting condition of plan & budget integration, budget and expenditure, budgetrnutilization & controlling and performing of audit for approved budget in therntransformation plan, assessing the trend of budget performance of Addis Ababarncity administration of f inance and economy development from the year 2003-rn2009E.C and to determine the contribution of budget performance of the f inancernand Economy development Bureau, primary and secondary are used to collectrndata. Data were presented into tables, graphs and charts for easy analysis andrndiscussion of f indings, the study f indings indicated that budget implementation &rncontrolling starts with identif ication of the objectives and it end up withrnmonitoring, adjustments and providing feedback for the necessary correctivernmeasures the study concluded that in order to enhance the performance of thernBureau there must be properly integrated budget and plan of the Bureau and alsornproperly implement and controlling the budget through encouraging the internalrncontrols and audit performance of the approved budget.
