Background: Diabetic foot ulcer is a common and the most fearsome problem among peoplernliving with diabetes. The management of diabetic foot complications can be optimized by usingrnan interdisciplinary team that focuses on the correctable risk factors along with optimizing localrnwound care. Nurses, important members of the diabetes treatment team, have an essential role inrnthe prevention of diabetic foot problems and in the care and education of patients at risk ofrndiabetic foot problems. But there is limited research on nurses` knowledge regarding to diabeticrnfoot care management. rnObjectives: The aim of this study was to assess nurses` knowledge level and associated factorsrntoward diabetic foot care management in selected government hospital of Addis Ababa cityrnadministration, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2020. rn Method: A cross-sectional study design was conducted among nurses who were working inrnselected government hospitals from March 1 to April 30, 2020. Data was collected usingrnstructured self-administered questionnaire on 119 study participants were selected using simplernrandom sampling. rnResult: Data was cleaned and entered using Epi-data version 4.2 and then imported to SPSSrnversion 24 for analysis. Frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations were used forrndemographic variables and to describe the scores of the study variables. Bivariate andrnmultivariate logistic regression was done to determine the association between the independentrnvariables and dependent variables. The independent variables which become fitted on thernbivariate regression less than or equal to p-value of 0.25 was included in the multivariablernanalysis.
