Previous to this study, no identified research projects had looked specifically determinants ofrnemployee engagement in the field of human services in Ethiopia. Therefore, this empirical studyrnwas conducted to understand the determinants of employee engagement specifically in CBErnAddis Ababa Area Zone. A theoretical foundation was compiled for the study based on thernliterature review. The research is cross-sectional field survey and co relational study. For thisrnstudy a Multi-stage sampling was used, 361 employees were selected as the sample of the study.rnThe standardized measurement scales were adapted and distributed to 361 employees in the formrnof questioners but, 315 respondents filled and replied were found valid for analysed. Thernindependent T- test and logit were used to analyse the study hypothesis in stata. Results indicaternno differences in engagement scores for males and females, for education level, or for years ofrnservice in the bank. The results of the study also indicate that the work live factors listed in thernstudy have a significant effect on Employee Engagement in CBE.
