Multinuclear complexes of Zn(II) from citric acid and 2, 2’-dipyridylamine and Mn(II) from 2, 2’-dipyridylamine were successfully synthesized by template method. All complexes were particularly colored and stable to atmospheric condition. All the synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, AAS analysis, IR and UV-vis spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility and conductance measurement. Analytical data of the mixed ligand complexes shows zinc metal to citric acid to 2,2’-dipyridylamine ligand (zinc: citric acid: dpa) ratio of 3:2:3 for Cpd-1 and 3:2:4 for Cpd-2 and manganese metal to 2,2’-dipyridylamine ligand ratio 4:3 for Cpd-3. In the Zn(II) complexes (Cpd-1 & 2), the mixed ligand acts as an O, and N-donor and in the Mn(II) complex, (Cpd-3), 2, 2’-dipyridylamine ligand act as N-donor. Attempt to synthesized the mixed ligand complex with Mn(II), one of the ligand (citric acid) was not reacted with it, (Mn+2). Based on the elemental analysis, conductance, spectral, magnetic, AAS, and UV-vis data, all Zn(II) and Mn(II) complexes were proposed to have an octahedral geometry.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
