Phytochemical investigation on the flowers of Senna didymobotrya led to thernisolation and characterization of the known anthraquinones chrysophanol (23)rnand physcion (24); two most likely new anthraquinones 2,2'-chrysophanolfallacinolrn(25B) and 10-(7-hydroxy-digito emodin-5'-yl)-10-hydroxy chrysophanol-rn9-anthrone (26).
