A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with electropolymerized film of 4-amino-3-rnhydroxynaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid (AHNSA) in pH 5.0 acetate buffer solution (ABS). Cyclicrnvoltammetry and square voltammetry were used as the analytical technique to compare the sensitivity ofrnthe modified glassy carbon electrode with bare glassy carbon electrode. Fenitrothion detection forrndifferent concentrations was performed by square wave voltammetry in pH 5.0 acetae buffer solutionrn(ABS). The irreversible reduction peak current which is at -594 mV is linear with the fenitrothionrnconcentration in the range of 4.0 x 10-6 – 2.0 x 10-5 M, and the detection limit is 8.0 x 10 -8 M. As arnresult, the square wave voltammetry at modified glassy carbon electrode provides a better sensitivity andrnit is faster and less expensive than traditional ones, such as, high performance liquid chromatography orrngas chromatography, which is time consuming, expensive and can not be carried out in field 34-36.rnKeywords: Electropolymerization; Cyclic voltammetry; Fenitrothion; Square wavernvoltammetry; Organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs);rn4-Amino-3-hydroxynaphtalene-1-sulfonic acid

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
