Equivalent strut approach coupled with modified Bouc-Wen model for hysteretic behaviorrnhas been adapted for the analysis of masonry infilled RC frame. Modification of Bouc-Wenrnmodel includes stiffness and strength degradations as well as pinching in the infill panel.rnDefault values for some of the parameters involved in the hysteretic model are adopted fromrnthe manual of IDARC-2D version 6.0. A simplified program developed in substitute ofrnIDARC-2D is the backbone of this paper. The program assumes the beams as rigid elementsrnembodied in the floor slabs and the deformation of columns in linearly elastic behavior.rnFour frames having the same number of stories but different number of bays are analyzedrnusing the program. Only the first bay, whose aspect ratio (L/H) subject to variation from 1.0rnto 3.0, has been infilled with masonry. Comparative analysis of shear in the left end columnrnis performed for the infilled frame and corresponding bare frame. Static analysis usingrnfundamental period and response spectrum curve based on EBCS-8 is carried out to comparernthe results of analysis of the program.rnKey words: Infill; Macro-model; Hysteretic; Degradation; Aspect ratio.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
