The study was intended to assessing The Organization And Management Of Functional AdultrnLiteracy Program in Selected Woredas of West Harerghe Zone of Oromia. [n the study, arndescriptive survey method was used. Six Woredas wer~ selected by purposive samplingrnmethod. From the six (6) Woredas, six FAL centers together with 1Sfacilitators, IS WoredasrnAdult Education boarded and technical Commillee (AEBTC) and 7 Zone (AEBTC) werernselected by purposive sampling technique. 1n addition, 7S(52.6)( 42 male trainees and 36rnfemale) trainees were included using proportional stratified followed by simple randomrnsampling technique to supplement the data gained Fom the practitioners. Questionnaires,rninterviews, observation, as well as document review were used to gather data and enrich thernstudy. Data analysis was made by using percentile, chi square test, t-test and one wayrnanalysis of variance (ANOVA) using SPSS of version 15. The findings revealed currentrnconditions and major factors related to organization and management of FAL? offered inrnFAL centers.
