Using The Centre For Victims Of Trauma Group Counseling To Reduce Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Anxiety And Depression Symptoms Among Trauma Survivors
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the Center for Victims of Trauma Ethiopia group counseling intervention delivered in Adi-harush and My-ayin healing centers are helpful to reduce anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms or not. In order to examine this, the researcher used the centers existed data. The study has pre-test post-test design. In the study 17 female and 14 males participants who has both intake and three month follow up assessment as well as consent signed used. The participant age ranged from 19-63. The researcher analyzed the existing data in Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS-version 25). To understand whether there is significant mean difference between pre and post-intervention score, the researcher used dependent t-test. Qualitative descriptions used to describe the feasibility, acceptability and its challenge.
