This paper presents a quasi nonequivalent groups experimental study to enhance positivernoutlook towards the teaching profession of trainee teachers through the use of educationalrnfilms and workshop. A total of 21 students for the intervention group and 65 students for therncomparison group were selected using multi-stage sampling technique for the study. Therernwas an intervention for a period of one month for the intervention group. The significancerndifference in outlook towards the teaching profession before and after the intervention wasrndetermined using independent samples t-test and paired sample t-test. Percentagerncomparisons were also made to see the difference before and after the intervention. Thernquantitative findings were also reinforced by qualitative data. A significant difference inrnpositive outlook towards teaching was observed between the comparison and interve ntionrngroups and within the intervention group after the intervention when compared with thernresults before the intervention. The findings of the study suggest that trainee teachers in thernintervention group have shown more positive outlook towards their future profession afterrnthe intervention than that of trainee teachers in the control group and their own resultsrnbefore the intervention
