One month whole-body personal doses due to exposures to diagnostic X-rays werernmeasured by using thermoluminescent dosimeters with lithium fluoride doped withrnmagnesium and titanium, LiF: Mg, Ti, (TLD-100) worn over any clothing at the leftrnshoulder level. Fifty four radiation workers employed in 15 health centers locatedrnin Addis Ababa were included in the study. Harshaw4500 Manual TLD-reader wasrnused to evaluate the exposure incurred by the workers.rnThe mean (standard deviation) of monthly deep and shallow doses were 0.296 (0.101)rnand 0.352 (0.193)mSv which are below the limits recommended by internationalrnradiation protection committees. The annual mean deep dose extrapolated fromrnthe mean of the exposures in one month was 3.552mSv which is only 17.76% of thernannual effective dose.rnIt was determined that annual effective dose incurred by X-ray machine operatorsrnin the cases studied is less than the limit proposed by international radiationrnprotection committees to protect radiation workers from the effects of man-madernsources of ionizing radiation

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
