Species delimitation in the genus Aloe has proved complicated due torninterlocked morphologies. This study investigated the taxonomic relationshipsrnof Aloe macrocmpa Todaro and A. lateritia Engler using both morphologicalrnand molecular teclmiques. The morphological results indicated that the natmernof variation in the populations of the two taxa is continuous. Microscopicrnstudies of pollen grains and the leaf cuticle showed little differentiation amongrnpopulations of the two taxa. The low genetic distances «0.3) between thernpopulations studied are in support of the hypothesis that the populations may bernconspecific, suggesting infraspecific rauk(s) for the taxa.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
