Objective of the study:To estimate the incidence of puerperal fever and to determine the riskrnfactors predisposing to puerperal feverrnStudy design:facility based descriptive cross sectionalpostpartum surveillancernResults:33/394 (8.4%) women were diagnosed with puerperal fever with rates of 10.8%rnfollowing cesarean section and 4.1% following vaginal delivery. Independent risk factors forrnpuerperal fever included operative delivery (AOR = 5.8, 95% CI1.02 - 28.30), rupture ofrnmembrane greater than 12 hours (AOR = 4.4, 95% CI1.15- 16.72), anemia (AOR = 5.6, 95%rnCI1.6 - 19.6)and postterm delivery (AOR = 6.7, 95% CI1.34 – 33.29).rnConclusion and recommendation:Compared with previous studies, the incidence of puerperalrnfever was high. Efforts should be concentrated on preventing identified factors in the facility sornas to drastically reduce the rate of puerperal fever

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
