Designing Pediatricians Communities Of Practice The Case Of Government Hospitals In Addis Ababa

Social media tools are changing the way people communicate collaborate and interactrnin the day to day activities of employees of the organization on especially in sharing tacitrnknow ledge /or experience. They are used for capturing and sharing know ledgernresource s including experiences of organization o ns or individuals so that therndisseminate on or transfer of knowledge will be facilitated.rnThis research work seeks t o design communities of practice as the strategy forrnacquiring and sharing knowledge using one of the appropriate social media tools forrngovernment hospitals in Addis AbabarnA qualitative expel oratory ca se stud y research design is selected to conduct thisrnresearch. Structured interview, questionnaire survey and informal discussions werernused to collect data that support the analysis.rnT he result of data analysis shows that communities of practice is the best alternativernof acquiring and sharing know ledge using electro Nicomedia to communicate with peerrnphysician s.
