In order for the transactionsrnto be carried out smoothly, the information flow must be clear and properly set to adhere tornthe rules and regulations of the perspective countries.rnThe seller is interested to sell his goods against good settlement or payment. The buyer is alsorninterested to get the goods in good condition. Thus both parties have to set an agreementrn(contract) in which the terms and conditions of the transaction are well established. Specifically the requirements ofrneach organisation such as Bank, customs, Insurance that have to be fulfilled by the importerrnare detailed in the study.rnThe data flow in and out of the system is highlighted in detail using diagrams and tables.rnFinally, a prototype database is created to show the importance of computerized businessrninformation system in import and sale business sector. It is possible to store, manipulate, andrnretrieve updated information from the system that in turn facilitates the provision of timelyrninformation to support decision making.
