Accounting information, inrnthis regard , plays a great role in:rn1) Planning, because reporting information on past periodsrnhelps t he user to make predictions about future events .rn2) Controlling , because budgets and standards are set, andrnperformances are measured against these budgets andrnstandards .rn3) Decision making , because the reporting of possiblernoutcomes based on alternative input allows the decisionrnmakers to select the best alternatives.rnThe accounting function also acts as an over all controlrndevice for external consti cuent s such as external auditors ,rnInland Revenue Administra t ion and Other Government bodies .rnThe result of the study reveals that accounting system ofrnA.
