The study explores audiences' level of satisfaction on Oromia TV Afan Oromornprograms. It also examines why the audience watch TVO in line with theirrnprogram preference and content selection. In order to deal with the researchrnproblems and related concepts, the researcher had referred different relatedrnliterature written on this topic. In relation to this different theoretical framernworks and models related to media satisfaction were revised.rnBoth qualitative and quantitative research methods were utilized in the study.rnAnd two towns of Oromia regional state (Ambo and Adama ) were purposelyrnselected as study area. Besides editor and audience research departmentrnworkers were interviewed to make the study more reliable.rnThe findings, revealed audiences' level of satisfaction with TVO Aflin Oromornprograms is very low. They showed their dissatisfaction with the overallrnservices of the medium. But still the majority of the respondents prefer to viewrnthis channel for the affection of the language. On the other hand when it comesrnto program preference they preferred to view entertainment programs thanrnother issues. Besides they expressed their satisfaction with some programs likernDorgadorge(Q&S) and daddaraaro(Oromia idol) programs .Likewise they statedrntheir dissatisfaction with TVO news and Ardaa marii (talk shaw) programs.rnAccording to the result of the study,TVOromia Afan Oromo programs were unablernto satisfy their audiences by producing and transmitting programs that go withrnthe needs and interest of its audience.
