Ethiopia is among the first countries to ratify the CRPD.1 However, although there are somernpositive aspects, the CRPD is not being implemented adequately with regard to the right torninclusive higher education in the Ethiopia. There are virtually no laws aimed at enforcing thernright of people with disabilities to inclusive higher education. Students with disabilities at AddisrnAbaba University face so many challenges in their teaching learning process. In this regard,rnstudent with visual impairment have limited access to choose their areas of study and withoutrnavailability of accessible educational materials, accommodated examinations, withoutrnmodification of academic requirements, and without sufficient assistive technology, to name arnfew challenges. Moreover, Students with physical and hearing impairments also face challengesrnbecause of lack of reasonable accommodation.
