This research presents "Sufi sm according to Shaykh JamiiluddTn al-AnnT". The study isrnorganized in to five chapters.rnThe first chapter is the introductory section which deals with background, statement ofrnthe problem, research methodology, objective of the study, significance of the study andrnreview of related literature.rnThe second chapter treats the biography ofShaykh JamiiluddTn al-AnnT (the author of thernmanuscript) in which his birth place, educational background, main achievements,rnprofession as well as attitudes of other scholars towards the Shaykh has been brieflyrnexplained.rnIn the third chapter Sufism is explained, where it's early and current definitions, differentrnorders of Sufism and its introduction to Ethiopia is briefly di scussed.rnThe description of the manuscript which is discussed in the fourth chapter consists thernbrief explanation abo ut the manuscript "Al-khula;;at al-naqiyya fl tar/qat al-~fiyya alzakiyyarnal-naqiyya" (the brief summary about the blameless right path of Sufism).rnThe fifth chapter broadly shows those ideas which has been criticized in Sufism inrnparallel to the shaykh's view to them.rnThe summary and conclusion as well as the recommendation are dealt in this chapter.
