Examining The Effect Of Supply Chain Risks On Performance Of Awash Winery Share Company

Supply Chain Risk management is a vital approach to enhance the various aspects of operational performance of the firm. The main target of the study was to examine the effects of Supply Chain risks on performance of Awash Winery Share Company. The process of examination has many touch points with multiple functions within the company and these functions need to be examined in order to provide better performance to the company and service to the customer as well. Quantitative methods of research were used and data were collected to the study using questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using both descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (correlation and linear regression). From the result of the analysis it is concluded that operational risks (supply risks, process risk & demand risks) have strong effect on operational performance of the company. Therefore, in order to achieve advancement in market share and profitability in the long run through enhancing operational performance, it is better for the company to give due emphasis to the constructs of supply risks, process risks and demand risks and the measure of operational performance
