The objective of the study was to assess the humanitarian Logistics performance ofrnSave the Children International Ethiopia this study was also intended to explore andrnempirically test the possible relationships between factors that can affect thernhumanitarian logistics performance and the Humanitarian Logistics Performance ofrnthe company. The researcher carried out a systematic literature review to identifyrnvariables and to design a structured questionnaire. Accordingly the researcherrnidentifies Five Humanitarian Logistics Performance measuring variables ofrnReliability, Responsiveness, Agility, Cost and Asset management. The researcherrnconducted an empirical study on a sample of 54 respondents who have experience onrnhumanitarian logistics within the company. The relationships proposed in thernframework were tested using Pearson correlation and the hypotheses proposed in thernresearch were also tested using regression analysis. From the result of the analysis itrnwas concluded that there is positive and statistically strong relationship betweenrnHumanitarian Logistics Performance factors and humanitarian logisticsrnperformances. It is also conclude that the humanitarian logistics practices of therncompany are well practicing and have a positive effect on the performance. Therefore,rnIn order to become competitive and achieve sustainable performance in disaster reliefrnchain operations, Save the Children Ethiopia should give due attention on thernstrategies to minimize the effect of those factors and to align the practices to thernperformance.
