The goal for humanitarian supply chain management is to minimize human suffering morernspecifically to prevent further loss of life and harm to humans, as well as provide immediaterntreatment to those with injuries and illness. The study examined the effect of humanitarianrnsupply chain management practices on performance save the children international Ethiopia.rnWhere the specific objectives of the study were to examine the effects of Mitigation practice,rnPreparedness Practice, Response Practice and Recovery practice at save the childrenrninternational Ethiopia. A census survey was conducted focusing on the operations departmentrnby deploying questionnaires to the supply chain and finance departments respectively. Thernresearcher used structured questionnaires to collect data. Out of the 86 questionnairesrndeployed, 71 questionnaires were cleaned and fed to the SPSS data analysis tool to conductrnthe statistical tests. A descriptive and explanatory research design was used to examine andrnexplain the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variables The relationshipsrnproposed in the framework were tested using Pearson correlation analysis, and the causalrnrelations were analyzed using regression analysis. The major findings of the study showed thatrntwo of the Humanitarian Supply Chain Management Practices (Mitigation Practice andrnRecovery Practice) have positive and significant effect on Organizational Performance.rnPreparedness and response did not show a statistically significant effect on organizationalrnperformance of SCI Ethiopia. Hence in order to achieve better organizational performance thernorganization should work on the two constructs.
