Warehousing refers to the activities involving the storage of goods on a large-scale in arnsystematic and orderly manner and making them conveniently available when needed. Thernobjective of this study was to identify the basic factors of warehouse efficiency in Heinekenrnbrewery. To achieve the objectives of this study descriptive and explanatory researchrndesign was used. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey from a total of 70rnemployees. The determinant of warehouse efficiency data was collected from respondentsrnby using a five-point Likert-scale while the Cronbach alpha was used to check the data forrnthe reliability of measurement scales. To analysis, the determinant of warehouse andrnwarehouse efficiency in the proposed model, Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)rnversion 23 software utilized as the analytical technique of choice. The analysis results ofrnthis study indicate that the determinant of the warehouse such as (warehouse locationrndesign, inventory location, warehouse management system, and effective communication)rnhas a strong relationship with warehouse efficiency. The findings of the study also indicaternthat employees were well aware of the basic factors of warehouse efficiency. The resultsrnalso indicate that, unlike effective communication, the remaining three factors (warehousernlocation design, inventory location, and warehouse management system) have a relativelyrnmore positive and significant effect on warehouse efficiency. The coefficient table depictsrnthat the significant regression coefficients for warehouse location design, inventoryrnlocation, warehouse management system and effective communication are significant atrnp=0.05, this significance level tells us variables can significantly predict the analysis ofrnwarehouse efficiency. Based on the findings of the study, numerous recommendationsrnlisted, including that effective communication should be given higher priority to improvernwarehouse efficiency, but also since this activity is at the closest interface with the customerrn- customer satisfaction is at risk.
