Numerics In One-dimensional Wave Propagation

This project provides a practical overview of numerical solutions to the wave equationrnof nite string using the nite di erence method. The second order central di erencesrnfor time and space is applied to a problems involving the one-dimensional wave equa-rntion of nite string which lead to an explicit numerical scheme. It also allows thernreader to show with the consistency, stability and convergence of explicit nite dif-rnference scheme for nite string and an example with working Matlab code for thernscheme is presented.
